★★★★★ KitchenAid Pro-Line Blender is VERY POWERFUL and has an EXCELLENT DESIGN! In fact the KitchenAid Pro Line has a more powerful motor than it's competitor, Vitamix. The Pro Line from KitchenAid has 3.3 HP; Vitamix 750 Pro-series has only 2.2 HP, so KitchenAid wins that one hands-down! KitchenAid Pro Line has a very solid base so it absolutely does not "walk/move" when it's being used. The Vitamix creeps/moves a little bit and has a weaker design; VitaMix dial is strange as it flips around without any resistance...I didn't like that as it felt like it needed to be tightened down. Also KitchenAid Pro One blender has a 10 year warrantee, while Vitamix 7 years, so again, KitchenAid wins! The only thing I can say for the VitaMix is you can separately purchase the smaller jar; KitchenAid only has the large jar so if you just want to make a small amount or single serving it may not be as easy to use in that respect. KitchenAid offers a single walled jar or their thermal double waller jar. Vitamix offers more variety in jars, from the smaller single serving size, to the jars for grinding your own flour products. Still with all that said, I still hands-down recommend the KitchenAid Pro Line! I just recently purchased my 3rd one (I purchased 2 for a gift).
