Actually 3.8 Ghz not 3.7 and it clocked to 4.9 Ghz out of the box. Amd promised 4.7 so... If I had to do it again I would. This is a very fast very stable processor.
No matter how many times I downloaded new drivers called AMD and MSI could not get the CPU to run duel channel memory. Could only run single channel 2 sticks in the slots closest to CPL. I had to send it back. Very disappointed, I will say first Time I’ve had a problem with MD
Awesome CPU, great performance, low thermals. Had a issue installing it on MOBO as I needed to get the BIOS upgraded to support Ryzen 5800x. Unfortunately my MOBO being ASUS needs a previous gen CPU installed first to upgrade the BIOS. I was able to borrow a 3800x to get it upgraded then then all went well.
