User reviews
I got this refurbished for ~$200CAD. I'd say it was well worth it. It seems to actually perform quite a bit better than my standard vaccuum. It was a cheap one though (It was a Bissel vacuum that I got for ~$50 in a boxing day sale a few years ago, they usually go for around $90 I think). This vacuum doesn't map the apartment, which I was a bit disappointed by but is my own fault, I should've looked into it more. That said it seems to cover my apartment fine. It does pass over some areas multiple times but it hits everything before it finishes its cleaning cycle and goes back to the dock. Some negatives (relatively minor): * It leaves tracks in the carpet. My other vacuum did as well, but this one will sometimes leave much more noticeable tracks as the brush digs into the carpet, I think because it's decided to go lower on the wheels for whatever reason. * It's prone to getting stuck occasionally when left unattended. It's worse with cables and seems to have gotten much better after clearing them out of the way though. * It has trouble getting back to the dock occasionally. I haven't had it actually run out of battery before it does yet though
I loved the Deebot N79S but after having it only one month the battery has gone from vacuuming the floor close to two hours to now only running for 15-30 minutes after it has been recharging for hours/overnight. Not sure if the battery was old so it had little life left since I purchased it used/refurbished by owner. The couple of weeks had to empty the tray from all the dust/pet dander that was under the furniture and in corners I couldn't even see. It doesn't work very good on the area rugs but on the tile and linoleum floor it does a great job. Thinking about purchasing a new one because battery cost approx. $50 so now I will be practically paying the price of a new machine without the warranty because it was used.
Great Product, I enjoy the integration with Google Home Setup. Ease of use is simply pushing a button on the remote or saying Hey Google, Clean my House. I have the vac run during the day while I am at work for the maintenance sweeps, and can control it with the remote for annoying spills or me being clumsy while cooking. Helps a lot since I have a serious Back Injury.
