I received my first WORX tool, the cordless 20V blower for fathers day from my daughter. I had been giving them gift ideas for more than 2 years before someone in my family listened. Even though I have extra batteries now, it was still taking to long to charge them (4-6 hours) with the standard charger. On bigger projects I found I needed sometimes only an extra 5 to 10 minutes of use on the WORX tools. IE blower, trimmer & hedger are the current WORX tools I own. These tools have freed up so much time in the evenings for me. I have 240ft. of street footage and what used to take me 1 1/2 to 2 hours at least twice a week to keep clean. I can pretty much do all the clean up in the time it takes to get a full charge (15-25 min.) with the new charger. Great products. I bought 2 more blowers, extra batteries & another one of these quick chargers for 2 other pieces of property that I take care of. These are life savers. I have about $3000.00 in Dewalt XRP and Lithium 18 volt tools. Dewalt doesn't really do any type of gardening tools. Last I would like to add that the WORX products seem very well made and that in June will be 1 year that I've been using them and I keep adding more and more pieces to my WORX collection. Just purchased the Gutter blower attachment this week. On a 2 story house, its a pain at almost age 60 to get on the roof to clean gutters. Can't wait to try it. Hope this review helps. Definitely a fan. Glen of SOCAL.
I would love this product if it last longer than a 2ah battery. I charged the batteries and used them in my lawn mower and I normally can mow my front lawn and used my hedge clippers, edger and blower using the same two batteries. I could not even finish my front lawn using these batteries.
I've used worx trimmers for 5 years, always had the 14-18VDC charger, this style charger works for 20VDC trimmers and batteries. Charges fast and indicator lights let you know status of battery. I still have 18V items so I'll mount these two side by side on a board and mount on the wall. I found out my 18v blower works on 20V batteries too!. Proabably won't last like it would with 18V battery, but lasts well with 20V battery. Havent tried the 18v trimmer with 20v battery. Again it probavly will work, but may burn out sooner.
