This timer is exactly like the Whirlpool original timer that went bad on my freezer, it was a direct fit, fixed my problem and was a third of the cost of the OEM. I guess time will tell to see if it lasts as long as the original but it’s working as it should for now.
Replaced original with this, and the defrost cycle now works. Looks completely different from original, had to check internet on where to position the jumper wire, was very easy. Very happy!
The electrical plug mated properly, and the timer performed well. The location of the mounting holes was different from the original timer. As a result, I could attach it with only one of the two mounting screws.
