Well they used the cheapest and shortest connector of course which renders the cup holder useless. So I got an idea to look for a longer one on the internet and OH MY GOSH the first result of a search for one sent me to EBAY the all mighty of things obscure and useless but this time the saver of the day. The longer one is of better quality than the plastic original and gets my sensitive electronics away from the cup large enough to bathe a small child full of soda.
