★★★★★ Quality product that accomplished what it says at an affordable price. Very easy to install, plug and play. Allowed me to use my 5.1 sound system on my computer that was not compatible with 5.1.

★☆☆☆☆ Instructions haven't been updated since the appearance of Win 10. Software is for Win 7 and 8 only, and if you don't realize that and install it according to the directions, you're in for a mess of problems. Finally came to my senses after an hour or so, and it installed automatically with Win 10 only, only to malfunction after a Windows Update. Sound was scratchy. De-installing the update only created more problems. Tried a clean inst all after deleting previous files and only succeeded in the sound card not being recognized at all. I could have just had a defective one to begin with, but ended up asking for a refund. By the way, this merchant reps New Egg, and New Egg ships the product, which will cost you a few extra dollars than going to New Egg directly.

★★★★★ I installed it into a Windows 10 system computer that had a built in sound card that stopped working after I installed a video card with HDMI outputs. I installed it in the computer turned it on and it worked great. It came with a CD or DVD with the drivers and so I installed them and it quit working so I uninstalled all that the CD had installed and it works great again. Since it is a Sound blaster card it has been my experience that they are much better than some of the NO NAME sound cards in other words they work where others fail.
