Got this unit to supplement the central a/c and it does exactly as advertised and what i wanted. Super easy to install, works perfect for single room.
Purchased Refurbished A/C Unit. It works wonderfully, cools a 200 ft2 bedroom from 85 to 78 in about 40 minutes. The humidity does not drop very far, not like central A/C. When temperature is met, the fan continues to run. The unit is noisy in fan only mode and worse when both the fan and compressor are running. The specification rates the noise level of 54 db. I checked with an app and sure enough the level was 54 db, on spec. Unfortunately, for me 54 db is too loud for sleeping. Therefore, I over cool the room and turn it off over night. Only have used the unit for a couple of weeks, but it seems okay.
