★★★★★ This purchase is a replacement for the same coffee maker I've had for 10+ yrs, I did not take very good care of my old one even though I loved it dearly. It started shutting off mid cycle and getting noisy so I had to retire it...God knows how long it would last if I maintained it properly. I think the old one is sad now 🙁 I'll try to take better care of my new one,really...Great coffee, simple to use,usefull features, oh, and very reliable!

★★★☆☆ I bought this refurnished, it came with a broken plastic corner, no problem,glued it and got a partial refund. But the cheapos don't include the metal filter and don't give a warranty. The lettering is hard to read, too small. On the plus side, it brews quickly, and the carafe pours nicely, no drips. Also, when removing the pot while brewing, it doesn't drip as the stopper is spring loaded. It sets up okay,but the clock is small and no back light, so have to squint when using it. Will brew 1-4 cups and it's super hot. For a large pot, I use the M setting, and it's plenty hot. I don't use the timer functions as I have it ready to go and just toggle the power on, like I said, brews quickly. If you can get a good price on it, buy it, if not, don't.

★★★★☆ This is a great coffeemaker, makes very good coffee. Offers both mesh and paper filter use. Can make 1-12 cups, although I have not made fewer than 3 cups at a time, so I don't know the results of making just a cup or two. It is more compact than our prior coffeemaker, so it takes up less counter space. It also has a programmable auto shut-off which protects us from leaving the coffeemaker on all day while at work. I see two design flaws. One, it has a narrow water receptacle with an interior gauge that is hard to see, and it is difficult pouring the water into the narrow area without missing a bit and causing a leak onto the heating plate. Two, condensation forms on the inside of the lid, and the water can spill off when opening the top. I also worry about mildew forming, and with the black interior that is difficult to observe. Other than that, it's an excellent product.
