★★★★★ I was actually after a larger saw than this like I currently had been using & been kinda concerned. What will I do if it quits or damaged. But when I received this, I thought Rut-Roh-It's too light and I hadn't even opened it yet. But I've been using it & it's great for pruning or trimming one armed. It's not very heavy but it's got the power. And it takes the same battery as my other cordless tools that are Makita. The heavier one I already owned I use mainly for cutting out trees at the root under ground. For pruning & put ya a SKIL UGLY pruning blade on there & go at it. And for the price I'm pleased as I have nerve damage in my right shoulder,arm and hand. I can even use this left handed.

★★★☆☆ This Mikita saw is very lightweight, but doesn’t have the power to get much done. I tried using it to trim branches on a soft wood tree, and had to get out a 110v powered saw and run an extension cord across the yard. It’s just too light weight for my use.
