★★★★★ Nice upgrade over my 3700X. I do a lot of “folding” projects, so having a higher core and thread count makes for better workload speed. Gaming power is over 23% higher (give and take depending on game/application)vs my 3700X. It was $599.00, so I paid an extra $50.00 over retail. I waited 7 months, (chip shortage was hell) but I got a great deal on this! The difference vs a 3900X might not be enough to switch, but in my case it was. Very happy. Shipped quickly and packaged like a boss! Puts out class leading gaming and multimedia numbers! Highly recommend!

★★★★★ Fast, very fast. I write part-time, fiction. I use voice recognition that was not working properly with a lesser CPU. I built a machine that I know is way overkill for my writing and photography. It allows me to do what I want. I'm able to dictate chapters as fast as I can speak now. When time is valuable, it makes this expensive chip worth every penny. It should pay for itself in the long run.

★★★★☆ Great CPU with lots of power. It sure generates lot more heat. I use a Cosair IO water cooler as a heatsink so it helps to reduce the temp. Will definitely buy again.
