★★★★☆ This is my 1st Dewalt pole saw. I have used it quite a bit and it works fairly well. But it does need a bit more power, professional it is not. I think it should be made in 60volt. If the saw chain bits in the wood too much, it just stops. Even with a fully charge battery. It leaks chain oil, but I haven't seen a chainsaw that doesn't. It's heavy on the saw end but that just helps it cut better. It's hard to do an under cut on the branch to prevent bark tear.

★★★★★ This is so easy to use. Very lightweight to climb up into a tree to use if necessary. Extends further than my gas powered pole saw. I was surprised at how easy it cut through the branches. Easier to use then my gas one, just put on a battery and go,

★★★★★ This is a great product. Very convenient and easy to use. I had a gasoline pole saw before but this reaches much higher and is a lot more convenient to use in those hard to get at places. I have cut limbs as high as 12' so far and 4" diameter without any problems at all. Note: I also bought the hedge trimmer head that is supposed to interchange with the pole saw head. After two minutes of use of that head, the blade locked up for good. After speaking with Dewalt reps, we decided it was defective and sent it back. But I could tell in those two minutes that the hedge trimmer head was not nearly the same good idea as the pole saw head. The hedge trimmer head was way to top heavy and unwieldy to use high up. Also, the articulating head did not lock down really tight due to its design and seemed rather flimsy. I highly recommend the pole saw but not the hedge trimmer.
