★★★★★ I like working with quality tools and this hedge cutter meets my expectations. It's a bit heavy but well built and is quiet as a hedge trimmer can be. Don't waste your money on other cutters go ahead and get a quality tool that will last you years of service. I don't think the picture shows you but it also comes with a well fitting blade guard used for storage. All and all this a nice tool. Dewalt makes a bigger hedge trimmer and is geared toward heavy commercial use but I only have about 100' of hedge to maintain every few weeks. I could probably get by with a smaller tool but I like the quality of Dewalt tools.

★★★☆☆ Does fairly good job but doesn't have power of gas unit. This is my 4th weeder to own. My other three weed eaters ran clockwise when cutting. This one runs counter clockwise and throws grass and rocks into my face. Cannot get used to it running counter clockwise. Probably work good if you are left handed.
