I was asked for a review only two weeks after I purchased the product, so it is impossible to rate the durability of this device. Some cameras I have owned have leaked in the rain, but I have not used this one during the winter, so I cannot comment there, either. What I can say is that the photos are clear, the trigger is fast, and the programming is simple, although one does have to toggle through unnecessary functions (such as number of photos taken when all one really wants is video, or video time even though all one needs is photos). Larger lettering would be nice, so that those of us with older eyes do not have to wear glasses to program. I have found that I rely primarily on the 60 foot setting to avoid unintended triggers that result with the more sensitive 80 foot setting.
This is the first time I've tried a Browning product. It was easy to program and has features that I like, but wish I had gotten a steel protection box with it. May have to adapt one that I have to fit. I have lots of bears and for whatever reason, they like to chew on cameras. Hope the no-glow light will make camera less obvious. This camera has only been deployed for approximately 1 week.
Over the years the cameras get smaller and smaller. This Browning is my smallest yet. The color scheme of it's case blends well with the tree trunk. I use these cameras for security as well as for hunting. They are placed high so a ladder is needed and it is more out of line of sight. Usually a small wedge of wood is required to get the correct angle. A selection of different wedges would be recommended for different instillations. The no-glow feature increases it's stealthness and reduces greatly being attacked by bears. Battery life is much better than some other brands and I have yet to have a problem with ants which have invaded other cameras and ruined them. I am very well pleased with the options given and quality of pictures. My other choice of camera will be phased out and these phased in as time goes by.
