This unit looks and performs as advertised. I've jump started my Integra and my Xterra without issues. On the Xterra, the battery was too dead for the "automatic" setting to work so I had to use the bypass step but it worked just fine. The carrying case seems to be holding up and the unit holds the charge very well (worked on the Acura after sitting in the back seat footwell for over six months). This unit's size is the amazing part, the whole XP-10 with case is 18 pounds lighter than the old lead-acid unit it replaced.
This is my second purchase. I have used my other set up for 4 years. I have jumpstarted many vehicles for people stranded in the parking lot, have charged my tablets and telephones many times. Took it camping to keep the light where I needed it. The new one has the “c” connection instead of the old long “I” phone connector I am glad, as I never knew anyone with that old connection. I lobe it that I only have one cord to find to charge several items at the same time.
You've heard the term "Big things come in small packages?" This is certainly one of those. It's cool enough you can charge from the USB, but I jump started 6 cars in a row with very dead batteries. I also use it to operate my 12v gas pump. It's small, light weight and has the convenient storage bag. Lots handier when going on trip than packing an old school jumper box. Highly recommended!
